Another year, with all its hopes and fears, is again upon us, and all eyes are open to secure the best Fraternity men.
At our first meeting this year we had only twelve active members, but now our roll has been increased to twenty. We are unable to express our sorrow at not having all our old boys among us, and although their faces are no longer seen within our halls, still we feel their hearts are with us.
Last June, after Commencement exercises, we had the pleasure of initiating within the mystic circle of Kappa Sigma … and looking among the new men, we deemed the following worthy to bear our badge … Baxter Ware …
We are well represented in the military department this year, having one major, two captains, and the adjutant, besides several other officers of minor importance.
In the preliminary oratorical contest on November 5th he had two representatives … In the Freshman Class elections held a few days since … Bro. Baxter Ware, Poet …
