“STANDING BROAD JUMP RECORD
We are sorry that every Clan did not send in a record, but we thank all that did. The highest average was secured by West Virginia Clan No. 180, Falls Mills, W. Va. It had seventeen brothers entered in the Clan average was six feet four inches. The second was Fawn Creek Clan No. 89, Staples, Minn., with an average of slightly more than five feet. It entered sixteen brothers. The foregoing records are both good, as some small boys are in the Clans. The longest jump by a member was Perry Rexroad, West Virginia, who jumped nine feet five inches. An Honorary Member, Fred Ware, also of West Virginia, jumped nine feet six inches.”
