John Ware (1734)

“1734, May 1.  Ware, John, of Cohansey, Salem Co., yeoman; will of.  Wife, Bathsheba, plantation in Cohansey until my son John will be 21.  Children–Hannah, Roda, Einathan, Mary and Abigail, to have equally two-thirds of the personal as the come to age;  Einathan to have 25 acres I purchased of Abiel Carle, Junior, and 11 acres purchased of Isaac Davis, adjoining John Bacon.  My land in Rhode Island (if recovered) to my children John, Hannah and Roda.  Sons to be bound to trades.  Executors–wife, Bathsheba, ad Abraham Reeves of Cohansie, blacksmith.  Witness–Uriah Bacon, Charles Davis, Eben’r Goold.

1734, May 7.  Codicil.  If son John should be dispossessed of the place I live on before Einathan is 21, he shall be released from paying to him the L10.  Witnesses–Uriah Bacon, James Caruthers, Eben’r Goold.  Proved 20 June, 1734.  Lib. 3. p. 422.
