“FRANCIS, Albert J., president Francis Construction Co,; born in Alexandria Ky., Jan. 4, 1871; son of Charles and Sarah (Ware) Francis; educated in public schools; married, Covington, Ky., 1894, Nettie Bressman; one son: Bert.  Learned carpenter’s trade under father, who was a contractor and builder; engaged as contractor in Covington, and later was manager of erection to additions to soldiers’ homes at Danville, Ill., and Dayton, O.;  located in St. Louis, 1901, as contractor and builder; director Maryville Hotel Co.

Democrat.  Baptist.  Mason; member Knights of Pythias.  Clubs: Mercantile, Missouri Athletic, Oasis.  Recreations: fishing and automobiling.
