“SALEM, November 1, 1856
Statement of Horace Ware.–Manny’s Machine.
In addition to the above, I have mowed about six acres of second crop in as many hours, of between one and two tons to the acre.
I entertain the same favorable opinion of Manny’s machine, as compared with all others that I have seen, that I expressed last year; and recommend it with confidence to all who have the requisite skill and patience to use such an implement.
MARBLEHEAD, November 1, 1856.”
