Its statement of September 4 shows: Capital, $125,000; surplus and profits, $89,199; deposits, $1, 275, 914; due from banks and cash on hand, $300,181; resources, $1,490,113. This bank has grown steadily since it started. In the last five years the deposits have more than doubled, the increase in the last year being $250,000. President, Hiram A. Scriver; Cashier, Joseph E. Ware.”
