”REPORT ON SHEEP.

Mr. Plowden. from the committee on sheep, presented the following report, which was read :

The committee on sheep respectfully report, that the number exhibited was not so large and varied as anticipated. Of fine wools there were none exhibited. The competition was, consequently, confined to the mixed and long wools. Much credit is due to all the competitors for the handsome condition of their respective animals, and to Col. J. W. Ware, and Messrs. C. B. Reybold and A. Clement, jour committee think too much praise cannot be given for the magnificent specimens exhibited by them.

After a most careful and thorough examination, they award the several premiums, as follows :

LONG WOOLS.

For the best Buck, long wooled, 1 year old, to Clayton B. Reybold, of Delaware, $5

For the 3d best Buck, long wooled, 2 years old, to Clayton B. Reybold, 3

For the best pen of Ewes, not less than three, to Clayton B. Reybold, 5

For the 2d best pen of Ewes, not less than three, to Col. J. W. Ware, of Virginia, 3

For the best pen of Lambs, not less than four to Henry Carroll, of Bait. Co. 4

For the best imported Buck, Cots wold, to Col. J. W. Ware, of Virginia, 5

For the best imported Ewe, Oxfordshire, to Clayton B. Reybold, 5″
