”SECOND READING OF ASSEMBLY BILLS.

On motion of Senator Tyrrell, the Senate took up the consideration of the second-reading file of Assembly bills.

Assembly Bill No. 687—An Act to organize and declare valid all proceedings in the San Ysidro Irrigation District.

During second reading of the bill, the following amendment was offered by the committee.

On page 1. after line 5. add a new section, as follows:

‘sec. 2. The boundaries of said district are herebv declared to be as follows: Beginning at a point 1330.14 ft. west of the J cor. to section 1, Tp. 19 S.. R. 2 W.. and section 6, Tp. 19 S., R. 1 W.. San Bernardino meridian, thence north along the subdivision line of said section 1, 2640 ft. more or less to the line between Tps. IS and 19 S., R. 2 W.; thence north along the subdivision line of section 30, Tp. IS S., R. 2 W., 600 ft. to a point: thence west 600 ft. to a point; thence north 45 degrees W. 933.5 ft. more or less to the N.W. cor. of the S.W. 4 of the S.W. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of section 36; thence north along the N. and S. center line of section 36 800 ft. to a point; thence W. 2640 ft. more or less to a point on line between sections 35 and 36; thence north 522.80 ft. to the i cor. between sections 35 and 36; thence west 2640 ft. more or less to the center of section 35; thence south along the center line of section 35 1320 ft. more or less to the 1/8 cor. of said section 35: thence east along said subdivision line 1165 ft. more or less to the N.W. corner of the Levi Ware tract; thence south along the west line of said tract 600 ft. more or less to the northerly line of the right of way of the San Diego Southern Railway: thence southeasterly along the northerly line of said right of way to a point 19S ft. west of the line between sections 35 and 36; thence S. 0 degrees 22 minutes W. 1355.75 ft. to the S.W. corner of addition No. 3 to San Ysidro. map on file in the county recorder’s office of San Diego County, California; thence S. 89 degrees 55 minutes E. 950 ft. more or less to the west line of ‘N’ tract San Ysidro subdivision ; thence south along the west line of said ‘N’ tract to the center line of section 1 ; thence east along the center line of section 1 to the place of beginning.’ ”
