  1. Searching for Pvt Thomas Wesley Morton
    Enlisted in the National Guard on May 2, 1864 in Galliopolis, Ohio as a Private. He was a member of Company D, 140th Ohio Infantry and was discharged on September 3, 1864 due to “expiration of service” and a disability listed as “eye disease” and “lame back” which he contracted in Charlotte, West Virginia in August 1864.
