My grandfather was KIA Sept 28 1918 with Company C, 140th, 35th Division. His brother was with the regular Army’s 5th Infantry Division, with the infantry, then an MP, dying of his wounds 18 years later.
Have been researching the “World War” and it’s turning into a real education in American, and world-wide, history.
