“CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS ASSOCIATION MEETS
The Life Underwriters’ Association of Central Massachusetts held its monthly meeting Monday noon at the Hotel Warren in Worcester. President Henry E. Townsend presided and the meeting was attended by fifty members and guests. The speakers were Chandler Bullock, general counsel for the State Mutual Life, and Rev. Alfred T. Ware, recently appointed general agent for the National Life of Vermont.
Mr. Bullock spoke on the matter of legislation now pending in the state, and placed much emphasis on the importance of the life insurance agents in rendering service to the policyholders in helping to combat the tendency to place upon the statute books legislation dangerous to the insuring public.
Mr. Ware gave an interesting address on his experiences in France during the past year as Y. M. C. A. secretary. …”
