Student of Medicine, with John Ware (his father), M.D., 1852-54; in the Hospitals of Europe, 1854-55;  Harvard College, 1855-56. In Practice, 1856-63. Physician of the Boston Dispensary, 1857-61; Physician of the Sanitary Commission, 1861-62. Surgeon of the 44th Infantry Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteers, 1862-63. Member of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Died, at Washington, D. C, of typhoid pneumonia, April 10, 1863. Charter Member. Physician and Surgeon: Boston, Suffolk Co., Mass.

Lyman Eugene Ware. 

B.M.E., 1877. Treasurer of the Mechanical Engineering Association, 1873-74. Master of the Chimes, 1876-77. Engaged in Engineering pursuits, since 1877. Assistant to the Chief Engineer of the Union Pacific Railroad, since 1881. Charter Member.
