“Letitia Ware, an approved minister, and member of Darby meeting, Pennsylvania, departed this life on the 5th of 11th month, 182S, in the seventy-sixth year of her age. Although for several years of the latter part of her life, she was much afflicted with sickness, she was diligent, when her health permitted, in the attendance of our religious meetings, and faithful in the exercise of her gift. Beloved by all, her loss will be felt my many. At her burial the language was feelingly spoken,—’Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, from henceforth; yea, saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labours and their works do follow them.’ H. J.”
