"THE BARNESVILLE NEWS-GAZETTE Barnesville, Lamar County, Georgia January 16, 1958 F. K. WARE DIED AT HOME JAN. 11 Mr. Franklin K. Ware, 82, died at the residence here Saturday afternoon after a long illness. Mr. Ware was a retired textile worker and had been an employee of Aldora Mill here. Born in Roswell, Georgia, Mr. Ware came to Barnesville to make his home in 1912. He was a member of Aldora Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Monday at 3 p.m. at the Aldora Methodist Church with the Rev. Clyde Lancaster and the Rev. Hamby officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Daisy Boyd Ware; eight daughters, Mrs. George Turner, Mrs. Ray Wilson, Mrs. J. T. Edge, Mrs. B. H. Usery, and Mrs. Muriel Mitchell, all of Barnesville; Mrs. B. K. Whetstone, Atlanta; Mrs. Ed Creamer, Macon; Mrs. Kermit Grogan, Forest Park; two sons, R. A. Ware, Savannah, and Chief Wm. Ware, U. S. Navy, stationed in Cuba; a sister, Mrs. Raymond Galevitch, Savannah; 24 grandchldren, and 10 great-grandchildren."
"THE BARNESVILLE NEWS-GAZETTE Barnesville, Georgia November 6, 1958 Mrs. Daisy Bell Boyd Ware, 77, widow of the late Mr. Franklin K. Ware, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. T. Edge at 140 Atlanta street in Barnesville. She was a native of Coweta Couny. She had been ill for several months."
