Fannie Marie Ware Obituary, 2011

"Fannie Marie Ware, nee Lea, of Cherryville, Missouri was born 
December 5, 1923 at Cherryville, Missouri to Eddie and Pearl 
(Collier) Lea and passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at Cuba 
Manor, Cuba, Missouri at the age of 87 years.
On April 1, 1942 in Steelville, she was united in marriage to 
Franklin Leo Ware.
For many years, Fannie took care of her family by sewing, 
quilting, gardening and cooking. In later years with her spare 
time, she enjoyed working puzzles and playing “Aggravation.” 
Most of all she loved seeing her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Pearl 
Lea; her husband Franklin Ware on April 2, 2001; one son, Jessie 
Leonard Ware; two brothers, Loyd Lea and Harold Lea; and four 
sisters, Gladys Green and husband Floyd, Stella Lea and infants.
She is survived by her four sons, Curtis Leo Ware and wife Grace 
and Loyd Wayne Ware and wife Jackie, all of Cherryville, Missouri, 
William “Bill” Franklin Ware and wife Marilyn and Virvine George
Ware, all of Steelville, Missouri; one daughter, Judy Marie 
Loveless of Cuba, Missouri; one brother, Cecil Pyatt and wife 
Mildred of Cuba, Missouri; one sister Lorene Martin and husband 
Albert of Steelville, Missouri; 19 grandchildren, 39 great grand-
children; three great great grandchildren; other relatives and 
friends.
Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the 
Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 
2011 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri 
with Pastor Don Martin officiating. Memories were shared by 
daughter-in-law, Jackie Ware. Special music of “I Am Weary,” 
“The Master’s Garden,” “Take Me Over to Jordan” and “Wagon Tracks” 
was played.
Committal prayer and burial were in the Delhi Cemetery at Cuba,
Missouri. Casket bearers were Shannon Ware, Chance Reeves, 
Curtis Lee Ware, Rodney Ware, Travis Ware and Randy Ware. 
Honorary casket bearers were Cody Ware, Scot Ware, Mike Ware, 
Shawn Ware, Jeffrey Ware, Robbie Ware and Clayton Reeves.
Arrangements under the direction of the Britton-Bennett Funeral 
Home of Steelville, Missouri."
