"HOWARD, GORDON "SARGE"
Gordon "Sarge" Howard, age 75, of McDonough, Ga. died 
Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005. He was born in Apison, Tenn. 
to Creed E. and Lucille Ware Howard. Mr. Howard was an 
Army Veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He 
enjoyed the outdoors, especially working in the garden.
Most important to him was family. Gordon was a devoted 
and loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother and 
friend.  Mr. Howard is survived by his wife, Nancy, 
children, Michael Howard, Apison, Tenn., Timothy Howard, 
Houston, Texas, Darlene Rogers, Locust Grove, Bobby 
Strickland, Jr, McDonough, Tommy Lee Strickland, McDonough, 
Laurie Yates, Stockbridge; brother, Douglas.Howard,
Dalton, Ga.; and grandchildren. Interment will follow 
at Locust Grove Cemetery."
