Harry Milton Ware, 85, Welsh Hill Rd., Friedens, died
Dec. 5, 1998, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 29,
1912, in Allegheny Township, son of James and Cora
(Sarver) Ware. Preceded in death by parents, sisters:
Irene Berkebile, Effie Krause, Myrtle Baird, Anna Menser
and Dorothy Good, and brother Donald. Survived by his
wife of 58 years, the former Margaret Elizabeth Glessner;
these children: Judith, married to Gilbert Bryan, Morgantown,
W.Va.; Randall, married to the former Sally Urban, Friedens;
and Todd, married to the former Elizabeth Burdette, McMurray;
grandchildren: Patrick Bryan, Morgantown, W.Va.; Scott Ware,
married to the former Michele Spangenthal, Roy, Utah; Tammy
and Susan Ware, Friedens; Matthew, Benjamin and Kerry Ware,
McMurray. Brother of Edison and wife Mae, East Berlin;
Nellie Klotz, Somerset; Marian Zimmerman, Friedens; and Clyde,
H. and wife Hazel, Stoystown. Brother-in-law of: Jane Ware,
York; John Menser, and Paul Good and wife Ellen, all of Friedens;
and Ilga and Kenneth Patterson, Hagerstown, Md. Also survived
by numerous nieces and nephews. A 1932 graduate of Somerset
Township High School. Retired from Island Creek Coal Company
in 1976. Member of UMWA, local #998, Mountain Field and Stream
Club, Roxbury, and Friedens Lutheran Church and Rebekah Bible
Sunday School Class. Family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m.
Monday (today) at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. Service will
be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Friedens Lutheran Church. No
viewing at the church. Rev. John Tim. Interment Somerset County
Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given
to the Memorial Fund at Friedens Lutheran Church, Friedens, Pa.
15541."
