"Jim Ware, 79, of 1481 Edgewood Road, died Wednesday, Jan.
12, 2000.
A native of Crawfordville, Mr. Ware was a son of the late
John Alex and Betsy Collins Ware, and was the widower of
Winnie L. Wynn.
He was a World War II veteran, was retired from DuPont Aiken,
S.C., and was a member of Greater Level Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Greater Level Hill Baptist
Church, Crawfordville, with the Rev. Samual Duggans
officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Alene Randolph and Rosie
Cullars, both of Crawfordville, and Janice W. Miller, Augusta;
three sons, Oliver Ware, Columbus, and Marvin Ware and Charles
Ware, both of Crawfordville; 14 grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
McLendon Memorial Funeral Home, Washington, is in charge of
the arrangements.
