Loree G. Ware of Sullivan formerly of Bourbon, Missouri was born to the union of Roy K. and Hazel A. (Shaw) Stevens on Tuesday, April 26, 1921 in Cuba, Missouri and passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 27 days. Loree was united in marriage to Roy A. Ware on December 7, 1939 in Steelville, Missouri and to this union four children were born. Loree worked for the Cuba Shoe Factory and later worked as a receptionist for Dr. Gross. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon, where she taught Sunday School for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, gardening, canning, singing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son, Ronald Ware; three brothers, John, Wayne and Glen Stevens; one sister, Lucille Spurgeon; one daughter-in-law, Paula Ware; one grandson, Gregory Ware; other relatives and friends. She is survived by two sons, Robert Ware of Bourbon, Missouri, Michael and wife Sally Ware of Sullivan, Missouri; one daughter, Dena Guynn of Yuma, Arizona; one daughter-in-law, Chris Ware of Sullivan, Missouri; three brothers, Edward and Robert Stevens of Florida, Billy Stevens of New Mexico; one sister, Betty Wilcox of Sullivan, Missouri; nine grandchildren, David and Brian Ware, Dewayne Robinson, Angie Britton, Timothy Ware, Rachel Hunter, Rusty Ivie, Jessika Spayd and Cody Cramer; several great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Friday, December 26, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral was Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Panepinto, officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri."
