"MRS. MARY FRANCES GORE was born in Platt county, MO 
13 May 1842; in the year 1859 she married A. M. Gore; 
moved to Iowa in 1864 and to Kansas in 1890.  Died at
her home near Lebanon 1 Oct 1894 aged 52 years, 4 months
and 19 days.  Deceased was a member of the Baptist 
church and an earnest devoted Christian.  She leaves
9 children, a husband and father.  The funeral services 
were held in the school house near the home on Oct. 3rd.  
A large concourse of friends followed the remains to the 
Sweet Home cemetery for burial."
