"Mrs. Nellie Ware, 85, of Arcadia, died in Many, 
on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 8 a.m., following a short 
illness.

  Survivors include a son, Sam Ware of Houston, Tex.;
one daughter, Mrs. Eloise Meadows of Many; a sister, 
Mrs. May Winn of Minden; 9 grandchildren, and five 
great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the First Baptist 
Church of Arcadia, on Thursday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. 
The Rev. Johnny Atkins officiated. Burial was in 
the Arcadia Cemetery, under the direction of the 
Warren Meadows Funeral Home."
