Ward O. Rush, 87, of Humbird Street, Ellerslie, Md., died
March 18, 1988 in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born
in Londonderry Township Jan. 20, 1901, he was the son of the
late Samuel L. and Mary A. (Ware) Rush. He was retired from
the engineering department of the Celanese Corporation's former
Amcelle plant near Cumberland, Md.; attended the Ellerslie
United Methodist Church and was a member of Cumberland Aerie
245, Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survivors include his widow,
Rheta I. (Emerick) Rush; two sons: A. Merle Rush, North Ridgeville,
Ohio; and Curtis W. Rush, Bartlett, Tenn.; one daughter, Carol
R. Imler, Tucson, Ariz.; one sister, Miss Grace I. Rush, Hyndman
RD 1; three grandsons, and one great-granddaughter. The Harvey
H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, was in charge of arrangements."
