“Mr. Gortha G. Ware, 84, died Augut 26, 1992 in Shreveport, after a brief illness. He was born in Lowe, Mississippi and had been a resident of Shreveport most of his life. Mr. Ware retired as assistant treasurer in 1973 after 45 years of service with Arkansas Louisiana Gas company, was a member of Mangum Memorial Methodist Church and was active in Boy Scout work. He was preceded in death by his wife Doll Toler Ware, parents, Rev. Richard T. and Melissia Maddox Ware. Survivors include two daughters, four grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.”
