“Mr. James Henry Ware Sr., on Monday, October 27, 1975 at 9:30 p.m.; a retired dairy farmer, veteran of World War I, U.S. Navy, a member of the American Legion Post No. 45 of Opelousas; husband of Aline Roussell of Opelousas; father of James J. [sic H.] Ware Jr. of Baton Rouge and Bradford Ware from Rayne, La., Mrs. Billy Wallis of New Iberia, John Anthony of Bogalusa, Mrs. Robert Lucent of Fresno, Calif., brother of Thomas Ware of Opelousas, step-father of Mrs. Frank K. McCardell of Opelousas; Mrs. Charles Mayer of Opelousas, also survived by 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; age 80.

Services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 1975 at the Episcopal Church, Opelousas at 10 a.m. Interment Bellevue Memorial Park.”
