“Mrs. Jessie Juanita Ware, 67, of Longview, died March 5, 1975 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 20, 1907, in Tie Plant, Miss., and came to Longview in 1945. She was a member of F.O.E. 556 in Castle Rock and the Robert Gray Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Oscar I., at home; four sons, William E. of Longview, Billie F. of Sacremento, Richard C. of LaCanada, Calif., Bobbie O. of Portland; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Ferguson of Castle Rock, Mrs. Wilma Hefley of Longview, Mrs. Ann Eggerman of Concord, Calif.; two brothers, Billie Gant and Eugene Gant, both of Gernada, Miss.; her father, E.W. Gant of Gernada, Miss.; seven sisters, Mrs. Alma Morgan and Mrs. Nellie Morgan, both of Elliott, Miss., Mrs. Gertrude Long of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Dimple Tharp of Gore Springs, Miss., Mrs. Jane E. Ezell, Mrs. Tate Mayo and Mrs. Bernice Harbin, all of Gernada, Miss.; 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Steele Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Davis officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow in the Longview Memorial Park Cemetery.”
