“Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Ware were Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Hopewell Baptist Church, Plainview, Reverends Greg Willis and David Ragland officiated. Interment followed in Hopewell Cemetery. Mrs. Ware, 56, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 23, 2011 in her residence with her family near her side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mae Strother; one brother, Audie Strother and one sister Audrey McDaniel.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband, of thirty-nine years, Larry Ware of Oakdale; three daughters – Angela Ware and her husband, Hubert of Plainview, Michelle Sauls and her husband, Shaun of Oakdale and Hannah Ware of Oakdale; four brothers – Romelzy Strother and his wife, Jackie of Plainview, B.B. Strother and his wife, Anita of Plainview, Joe Boy Strother and his wife, Cindy of Oakdale and Johnny Strother and his wife, Sherry of Oakdale; one sister – Dorothy Stafford and her husband, Pat of Plainview; six grandchildren – Josh, Brittany, Matt, Shyann, Lexie and Kenny.

Services were under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.”
