“Rachel Mackey Ware, 85, of 42 Second St., Woodside, died Monday, Aug. 23, 1999.

She was born in Williamston and was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Alice Gilreath Mackey and wife of the late William Haskell Ware.

Mrs. Ware was a homemaker and a member of Woodside Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Jo Ann W. Cleveland and Linda W. Alpert, both of Greenville; sons, Bill K. Ware of Greenville, James R. Ware of Plum Branch, and Danny T. Ware of Fountain Inn; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Visitation: 12:30 to 2 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

Services: 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with burial in Graceland Cemetery.

The family is at the home of Jo Ann W. Cleveland, 9 Lilac St.
