“A native of Lake Charles, LA and resident of Colorado Springs, CO, he passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at The Carpenter House. He was 65 years old, a retired Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War, and he enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching LSU sports. He is survived by a daughter, Angela Kristina Ware; son and daughter-in-law, Lee Martin and Jennifer Ware; two sisters, Robbie Ware LaVern and Patricia Ware Leiber; and three grandchildren, Kayla and Claire Bougere and Ella Ware. Preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Nellie Robertson Ware. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Monday, June 4, 2012 from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Ware, Kevin Benoit, John McClanahan, Matt Zylicz, Andy Huggins, and Justin Roy.
