Clyde Charles Ware Obituary, 1963

“Clyde Charles Ware, son of John and Ara Ware, was born March 4, 1907 at Licking, Missouri. He passed away at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, May 30, 1963, at the age of 66 years, 2 months, and 27 days. He was married to Mildred Robertson June 14, 1923, who passed away September 30, 1926. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Kellogg June 25, 1930. To this union was born one daughter, Norma Jean Ray. He leaves his devoted wife, Evelyn, and daughter Norma Jean, Granddaughter, Terry, son-in-law, Bill Ray; two brothers, Harry Ware of Porterville, California, and Cook Ware of Licking, Missouri, one half brother, Jack Ware of Boone, Colorado; three step-sisters Margaret Patterson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Opal Alley, Licking, Missouri, Rena Deason of Licking, one step-brother, Carlos Odgen of Licking, several nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. He was a good neighbor always ready to help anyone who needed help. He was converted and united with the Methodist Church at Zion 29 years ago, later moving his membership to the Licking Methodist Church of which he was a member, and attended church when he was able. He was a member of the Latimer Lodge No. 145 A.F. & A.M. of Licking, also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 400 at Licking for 44 years, and a Past Noble Grand. He was a veteran of World War 1. Clyde was sick for the last two years but never complained, He will be missed by all who knew him.”
