“Gary Ware, 71, died Feb. 6, 2006.

He was born in Morgan, GA, and lived in Stuart for more than 30 years, coming from Jupiter.

Before retirement, he was a cement finisher in the construction business.

Survivors include his wife, Alice L. Ware of Stuart; sons, James Carter of Vermont and Anthony Carter of Hobe Sound; daughter, Ollie Harvey of Stuart; brothers, Clarence Ware of Boynton Beach and Arigar Ware of Okeechobee; sister, Lydia E. Moore of Newark, NJ; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 11 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
