“Lorine Ware, 85, of Mannington and formerly of Adrian, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

She was born Aug. 18, 1918, at Frenchton, the daughter of the late Troy and Rosa Morrison Jeffries.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel Woodford Ware, who died on Jan. 11, 1995.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ina Mae and Daniel Swanson of Mannington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest E. and Hazel Ware of Buckhannon and Robert Lee and Thelma Ware of Fairmont; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Willard Lee Jeffries of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Dorothy Balducci of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Elnora Eddy, Regina Gould and Delta Barker.
Mrs. Ware was a Pentecostal by faith. She was a member of the Pentecostal Ladies Auxiliary.

Friends will be received at The Way of Holiness Church in Buckhannon from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at The Way of Holiness Church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating.

Interment will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery at Hinkleville. The Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.”
