In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Archie M. Newby. She was survived by her daughters, Evelyn Schmitz, Myra Ware and Gail Phipps (John Phipps, Jr.); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives.”
