“Philip G. [Flipe] Ware Jr., 55, Holmes Beach, passed away April 17, 2009 at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital. Philip came to Manatee County from Providence, Rhode Island. He was in the United States Air Force for eleven years as a S Sgt. ; His last station was at McDill Air Force Base. Philip worked at the Circle K store on Anna Maria Island from January 2000 until December 2007. He is survived by father, Philip G. Ware Sr., LTC US Army RET, brothers, Michael Ware of Columbus, Ohio, Russell [Verna] Ware of Bradenton, Jeffrey [Deona] Ware of Bradenton, Florida; sisters, Connie [Bob] Wash of Sarasota, Karen Ware of South Bend, Indiana and Joyce Ware of Bradenton; 12 nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will take place Thursday, May 7, 2009,1PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 SR 72, Sarasota, Fl.”
