“GASTONIA — Vivian Keeter Ware, 87, of Abingdon Place, died Feb. 3, 2006.

She was born July 4, 1918, in Rutherfordton, daughter of the late Charles Washington Keeter and Lilly Geer Keeter.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Cool Springs Cemetery, Forest City.

She was married to the late A. Vardley Ware of Forest City, NC, on Nov. 24, 1938, and moved to Gastonia, in 1956. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gastonia and also the local Garden Club. She was a Kindergarten Teacher for many years. Her gift of music entertained and inspired friends, family and community throughout her life. A homemaker and a devoted family member, she provided unending care, love and support to her family.

She will be remembered for her strong faith, positive outlook, courage and strength, sense of humor, comforting spirit and beautiful piano music.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Brother, Jack Keeter; sisters, Doris, Katherine, Patsy, and twin sister Lillian.
