Charles William Ware Jr. Obituary, 2009

“Charles William Ware, Jr., long time resident of the Sapulpa area, passed away at the age of 70, in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Saint Simeon’ Episcopal Home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Charles William and Vadalia Maxine (Smith) Ware on July 9, 1939. He served in the US Army for 26 years until his retirement and was proud of his time spent in the service. Charles was a Trumpet Player in the Army Band. He later worked as a violin Repairman. In Norman Oklahoma on February 14, 1965, Charles married Ginger Carol Finch. Together they raised their three children. Charles was a great lover of music and collected it as well. He also had an affinity for model railroads. He was very fond of animals.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Ginger Ware of the Home, his three children, Kim Dion, Chris Ware, and Cindy Smith; his siblings, Suzanne Mitchell and Dana Sinor; grandchildren, Angie Dion and Brooke Smith; other special family members, Mark Dion, Jamie Ware, Mike Smith, George and June Ware, Jed Fisher, Bob and Patti Rogers, Janice and Greg Kern and Jamie Sinor. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Service for Charles will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Aubrey Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in the Garden Of Honor II with The Oklahoma VFW Fifth District Rifle Squad providing Military Honors. The family has chosen to entrust the care of the service to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home.”
