Gaylen Lee Ware Obituary, 2008

“ZANESVILLE – Gaylen Lee Ware, 51, of Zanesville, died at 5 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2008, at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, following a lengthy illness.
He was born Saturday, Dec. 8, 1956, in Massillon, the son of Roland L. and Shirley L. (Tabler) Ware. He had attended Tuslaw High School in Massillon, where he excelled in all sports, in particular football. He was self-employed in lawn care and general maintenance. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan.
He is survived by his father of Massillon; two sisters, Kim Ware of Zanesville and Kelly (Daryl) Graham of Newark, Del.; and a brother, Todd E. Ware of Zanesville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, good friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ware.
Calling hours will begin at 5 p.m. with funeral services at 7 p.m. Friday, April 25, at the Wings of Hope Tabernacle, 709 Lee St. The Rev. Terry F. Newman will officiate.
Graveside committal services will conclude at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave.
