“Guy Ware Dies; Ill Only One Hour

Guy Ware, 61, died suddenly at midnight Monday at his home in Liberty Township. He had been ill only one hour.

Mr. Ware was born March 15, 1896, in Liberty Township to Dora and Anna Redding Ware. His first marriage was to Nora Thompson, whose death occurred in 1919. His marriage to Chloe Dillmon [sic Dillman], who survives, took place Dec. 11, 1942, at Fort Wayne.

A carpenter, he was a member of the Liberty Center Methodist Church. He had resided at Lowell, Plymouth, Silver Lake and Fort Wayne.

Survivors include the wife; his mother, Mrs. Anna Ware of Liberty Center Route 1; a daughter, Mrs. Esther Wiley of Warren Route 3; a son, John W. Thompson of Liberty Center Route 1; a sister, Mrs. Edna Frantz of Liberty Center Route 1, and six grandchildren.

The body was removed to the H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at Warren, where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Harold Zart will officiate and burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Warren.
