Jimmy Martin Ware Obituary, 2001

“Seminole native Jimmy Martin Ware, 65, died Tuesday at Seminole Medical Center.

He was born April 8, 1936, in Seminole, the son of Clyde and Edith Marie (Weatherford) Ware.

Ware married LaVonne Lancaster on Nov. 5, 1955, in Seminole.

He was an independent oil producer for 25 years and worked for C&J Trucks for 10 years.

Ware was a member of Seminole First Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several uncles.

He is survived by his wife LaVonne Ware of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Dan Kreeger and Teresa and Steve Dean, all of Seminole; four grandchildren, Lynnette Dean, Kyle Kreeger, Jeff Dean and Colt Kreeger; and a great-grandchild, Braylee Dean.

Services for Ware will be 2 p.m. Friday at the First Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. David McDougal officiating, assisted by Colt Kreeger. Burial will be held at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.”
