“She was born in Indianola, Oklahoma, and was the daughter of Rensey Sr. Lusk and Esther Smith Lusk. She graduated from Indianola High School and married Orville Ware on Dec. 11, 1939, in McAlester. She lived in Gardena, California, for 20 years where she was the secretary of the First Baptist Church and also during the war worked at a defense plant. She then moved to Indianola where she lived for 30 years until her health required her moving to McAlester. She was a member of the Indianola First Baptist Church. She died at the McAlester hospital at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Norma Jean Ware; a brother, Rensey Lusk Jr.; and a sister, Bernice.”
