“Nonagenarian Is Claimed By Death

William M. Ware Dies After Six Week Illness

“William M. Ware, 90, retired farmer, died at 11 a.m. Saturday at his home, Warren route two, after an illness of six weeks. Mr. Ware was born December 6, 1861, in Rockford, to William and Carolyn McFarren Ware and was married May 30, 1885, at Warren to Arminda Gephart, who survives.

Four daughters are Mrs. Nova Harper, Tiburon, Calif.; Mrs. Opal Bonifield, Warren; Mrs. Mae Jenson, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Mrs. Genevieve Anderson, Bluffton. Three sons are Fay H. Ware, Vallejo, Calif.; Noel C. Ware, Lakeside, Washington; and Warren Ware at home.

Seventeen grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive.

He was a member of the Warren Methodist church.

The body has been returned from the H. Brown and Son mortuary to the residence east of Warren whrer friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the residence. The minister and place of burial are to be decided later.

Services Conducted For William M. Ware

Funeral services for William M. Ware were conducted Tuesday at the family residence, Warren route two, with the Rev. Thurman Mott, pastor of the Warren Methodist church officiating, assisted by the Rev. Vance Davison, Bluffton.
Pallbearers were Alfred Ruble, John Taylor, Ed Moon, Roger Jones, Wade Bailey and Walter Kimmel.

Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery.”
