Whitman – Anne Louise (Smith) Ware 86, a resident of Whitman for over 50 years, died on August 13, 2010. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Robert Ware who predeceased her on August 13, 1989.

Anne was a devoted member of the West Bridgewater Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving children Elizabeth LaBelle of Rockland, Ruth Roberts and her husband Edmund of West Bridgewater, and Edward Ware and his wife Donna of New Hampshire, her grandchildren Daniel and Kim LaBelle, Deborah LaBelle, Jay Roberts, Ed and Terral Ware, and Laura Ware as well as five great grandchildren the youngest born August 12, 2010.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday August 18 at 10 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will follow in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday August 17 from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to Gideons International Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800 www.gideons.org.
