“Services for Edward Aron Ware, 69 of Idalou, will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 2 pm at Southside Church of Christ in Lubbock. Interment will follow in the Idalou Cemetery under the direction of Resthaven. Mr Ware passed away on Thursday, Sept 22nd.

Edward was born on December 27, 1941 in Canyon, Texas to Kenn and Julia Pierce Ware. He attended school in Quannah and married Judy Harris on November 19, 1965. He had been a resident of Idalou since 1965 and worked for Southern Cotton Oil Mill for almost 51 years. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Ella Mae Ware; two sisters, Lona Ritchie and Alvis Hooie; a brother-in-law, Ray Ritchie.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; his children, Julie Evans, Don and wife Angela, Ron and Lee Vinyard; a sister, Jackie Henderson; brothers, Berry Daniels and Jimmie Ware; grandchildren DeVante’, Elisa and Don Jr; and many friends, family and “adopted kids”.
