“Krista Brooke Ware, 11, of Wyatte, died Wednesday, February 21 at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. Krista was a sixth grade student at East Tate School in Coldwater and a member of the Bett Baptist Church near Independence. Services were held Saturday, February 24 at Wyatte Baptist Church with interment in Bett-Eavenson Cemetery in Wyatte. Pallbearers were Jim Ware, Clayton Whitehead, Michael Howell, Jim Hanks and Gabe Adams. Tommy March, Rev. Sam Howard and Rev. Griff Walker officiated.

Krista is survived by her parents, Robert and Dawn Ware of Wyatte; one brother, Zachary Ware of Wyatte; her grandparents, Ken and Sherry Stone of Wyatte, Michael and Sharon Sluppick of Independence and James and Anita Ware of Portland, Ore; and her great-grandparents, Mary Forte of Olive Branch, Vera Sullivan of Clinton, Iowa and Diane Massey of Independence.”
