“COCHRAN – Lester F. Ware, 75, died June 12 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville.

He was a native of Appling County, and lived in Cochran for the past 45 years. He was a retired railroad conductor from Southern Railroad and was a member of Cochran Masonic Lodge No. 217 F&AM.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Inez Collier Ware of Cochran; three daughters, Jean Ware and Patty W. Morris, both of Cochran, and Susan Dooley of Newnan; a sister, Catherine Mills of Surrency; and four brothers, Robert Ware of Tampa, Fla., Hiram Ware of Savannah, John H. Ware of Baxley, and Harry Ware of Milan.

VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Mathis Funeral Home.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 p.m. Monday in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cochran with full Masonic Rites.”
