BROWNFIELD (Special) Services for Mary Beth Ware, 74, of Tyler will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Burks-Walker-Tippit Chapel with Lou Gary Thomas officiating.

Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Terry County Cemetery in Brownfield under direction of Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in Tyler.

She was born Nov. 15, 1925, in Chicota.

She lived in Tyler for the past 10 years. Prior to that, she had lived in Blair, Okla., Brownfield and Odessa. She was a member of Lane’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Linerd Willie Ware, died in 1985. A son, Terry Lynn, died in 1991.

Survivors include one son, Michael Lane Ware of Houston; two daughters, Sherry Ware Lowrance of Flint and Traci Michelle Ware Westland of Odessa; one brother, Malcomb McElwee of Aiken, S.C.; seven sisters, Wanda Hutchinson of Fresno, Calif., Nell Emerson of Altus, Okla., Martha Adkins of Altus, Okla., Jean McCallay of Duke, Okla., Micki Stover of Oklahoma City, Okla., Jeanene Fowler of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Catherine Sue Lockridge of Atlanta, Ga.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
