“Rites at Bethel for Mrs. Cordelia Ware

Services for Mrs. Irania Cordelia Ware, 71, who died in the Houston Hospital after a short illness, were held from Bethel church Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. The Rev. Oliver Hood and the Rev. W G Watson officiated. Interment was in Bethel cemetery with Kilgore-Norman Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Ware was born in Alabama April 11 1883, but had made her home in Chickasaw County for 55 years. She was a Baptist, a member of Bethel Church.

She leaves four sons, T C Ware, and Allen Ware of Houston, S F Ware of Woodland and C P Ware of Hamilton, Miss.; four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Naron and Mrs. T K Bryant of Houston; Mrs. Corrine Springer of Columbus, Miss.; Mrs. Simmie Andrews of Beaumont, Texas, and one step daughter, Mrs. Sid Naron of Houston. She also leaves 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were, Gerald Wooldridge, Paul Vaughn, George Raborn, Jose A Sapulveda, Floyd Eaton, inactive pallbearers were, Dr. J M Hood, Walter Scott, Sid Dendy, Ed Dendy, Chess Harrington, Box Harrington, Burt Moore, R E Goza and Dr. S K Gore.”
