“Mrs. Lessie Christie Ware, 84, of 406 E. 58th St. died yesterday at the Chatham Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Virginia Christie Ware of Tampa, Fla. , a son, Hoyt N. Ware of Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur J. Davis of Savannah and Mrs. W. B. Newell of Tampa, Fla. and two brothers, R. H. Christie and C. C. Christie, both of Pooler.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Henderson Brothers Funeral Home.”
