Pvt. William Colson Ware Obituary, 1974

“William ‘Bill’ Colson Ware, age 77, died Jan 2, 1974 at 9 a m at his residence in the Mount Pleasant Community near Vancleave. A native of Vancleave, born Oct 18, 1896, Mr Ware was a retired carpenter, and served in the Army during World War I, and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are five sons, James Louis Ware, William L. Ware and Michael Ware, all of Vancleave, Mark Ware, Texas, and Paul Ware, Illinois; one daughter, Mrs Elizabeth Kittrell of Escatawpa; one brother, Leonard Ware Vancleave; one sister, Mrs Esther Moore, of Ocean Springs; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends may call Friday from 6 to 9 p m at Fails Funeral Service, 611 W Live Oak, Pascagoula.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a m from the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery in the Fort Bayou Community in Jackson County.
