Mr. Wayman R. Ware, 78, of Winona died of cancer Oct. 6, 2001 at the Mississippi State Veterans Home in Kosciusko. He was a retired construction company owner and U. S. Army Veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Hazel Ware and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Woody Ware.

Services were held Oct. 8 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John L. Walker officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.

He is survived by one daughter, Dinah Herring of Winona; three sons, Don Ware of Ridgeland, Kenny Ware, David Ware, both of Winona; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Walker Ware, Chet Ware, Keith Ware, Michael Herring, Pat Herring, Davey Ware, Derrick Ware, Dustin Ware.

Oliver Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.”
