“OKOLONA – Willie T. Ware, 62, died, Monday, January 13, 2003, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1940, to the late Booker T. Ware and Mary Nett Hill Ware. He was a member of Palestine M. B. Church.

Services were held January 18 at Palestine M. B. Church the Rev.Odell Bowens. Burial was in the church cemetery. Williams Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Debra Ware of St. Louis, MO;three sisters, Bobbie Jean Gates and husband, Jim, and Etta Ware, all of Okolona, and Mamie Standfield and her husband, Lee, of Houlka; a brother, Booker T. Ware, Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Memphis; one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Mozelle Ware Buchanan and Annie Mae Ware.”
